1. Scope & Definitions

FLAPY is a portable power bank rental service operated by FLAPY SL. These Terms of Use apply to the use of the power bank rental system under the FLAPY brand.

A "Location Partner" is the legally independent company at whose premises the power bank station is operated. A "User" is any natural person who rents a power bank via the FLAPY system.

2. How It Works

Users locate a FLAPY station via the app, scan the QR code on the station, and rent a power bank. The power bank can be returned to any FLAPY station in the network.

Rental begins at the moment the power bank is released from the station and ends when it is returned to a valid slot in any FLAPY station.

3. Pricing & Payment

• Rate: €1.50 per 30 minutes of use
• Daily cap: €7.50 (reached after 2.5 hours — any longer use within the same day is free)
• Refundable deposit: €25 pre-authorised when the rental starts, released on return
• Non-return fee (after 3 days): €45 total charge covering replacement

Payment is processed at the end of each rental. You must have a valid payment method on file before starting a rental. All payments are handled securely via Stripe or Apple Pay. FLAPY never stores your full card number.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the power bank from the moment it is released until it is successfully returned. You must not:

• Damage or modify the power bank
• Attempt to retain the power bank beyond the maximum rental period
• Use the power bank for purposes other than charging personal electronic devices
• Attempt to open or tamper with the station hardware

If a power bank is not returned within 3 days, a non-return fee of €45 total is charged to cover replacement. Damaged power banks may result in additional charges up to €45.

5. Account & Registration

You must create an account to use FLAPY. You may sign up with email, phone number, or with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make payments.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account Management → Delete Account inside the app. Upon deletion, all personal data is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

FLAPY is not liable for any damage to your device caused by using our power banks, provided there is no gross negligence or wilful intent on FLAPY's part. FLAPY is not responsible for any loss of data.

FLAPY does not guarantee station availability at any specific location or time. Station status is shown in real time but may not always be accurate due to connectivity issues.

7. Modifications

FLAPY reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the app.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the jurisdiction where FLAPY SL is registered.
