1. Data We Collect

We collect the following data to provide our service:

• Account information: name, email and/or phone number (you choose at sign-up)
• Location data: your GPS coordinates to show nearby stations (only when the app is in use)
• Payment data: processed securely via Stripe — we never store your full card number
• Usage data: rental history, session times, station usage
• Device data: device model, OS version, app version for diagnostics

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide and improve the FLAPY rental service
• Process payments and send receipts
• Show nearby stations on the map
• Send push notifications about your active rental
• Provide customer support
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Location Data

FLAPY requests "When In Use" location access to display nearby stations on the map. We do not track your location in the background. Location data is processed in real time and not stored long-term. It is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe – for secure payment processing
• Our hardware partner – for station operation (station ID and rental data only)
• Law enforcement – if legally required by a valid court order

5. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Rental records are kept for 3 years for legal and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your account at any time from Settings → Account Management → Delete Account in the app, or by contacting support@flapy.eu.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict processing
• Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)
• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption for all data in transit, and iOS Keychain storage on-device for authentication tokens. We regularly review our security practices.

8. Cookies & Tracking

The FLAPY app does not use cookies. We use minimal local storage (iOS Keychain) only to maintain your login session securely. The website uses essential cookies for functionality and optional ones for anonymous analytics — managed via our cookie banner.

9. Apple Sign In

If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the information you choose to share (name, email). Apple may provide a private relay email address. We store this securely and use it only for account management.
